FAQs
My details have changed, do I need to purchase a new Taggisar?
Taggisar allows the user to make emergency contact details, medical information and any other notes available to the emergency services.
Changes can be made free of charge, at any time, for the life of the sticker.

I don’t have a smartphone, can I still use Taggisar?
Absolutely, yes! You don’t need a smartphone or a QR scanner to use a Taggisar product. Just visit the unique website link found on each sticker and enter your emergency info there. Anyone accessing the info only needs that unique website link on the product and internet access.
Who scans the Taggisar in the event of an emergency? Is it the paramedics?
In the event of an emergency, paramedics focus on stabilising and transporting the patient. At the hospital, staff need to know as much as possible - and that’s where Taggisar comes in.
Taggisar is recognised by the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, and medical teams are advised to look out for ICE products. The ICE symbol is a worldwide recognised standard.
Is my data stored securely?
Yes. Your info is securely stored and only accessible to those with the exact URL (which includes a random code with 390 million combinations).
If someone tries to guess it, their IP is blocked after three attempts. Extra-sensitive info like your email also requires a 4-digit PIN (10,000 combinations), with the same block-after-three rule.
All data is handled in accordance with the Swedish Personal Data Act.

Why choose Taggisar over other ICE products?
Taggisar gives you a dynamic link to your info that you can edit any time for free. Other products (like ICE wristbands or dogtags) are static and can't be updated without buying a new one. Plus, you can link multiple stickers together for more flexibility.
I have ICE contacts in my phone. Do I still need a Taggisar?
Definitely! It’s always smart to have a backup. If your phone isn’t accessible (flat battery, damaged etc.), Taggisar ensures your vital info is still available. Keyring versions are also handy for house/car keys and other essentials you carry with you like a bag or suitcase.
Is Taggisar a subscription service?
Nope! It’s a one-time purchase. Subscriptions risk lapsing when you need them most, which isn't acceptable for us or our users. With Taggisar, you pay once and get free data updates, for life.
How long do Taggisar products last?
Stickers on helmets etc. can last well over 5 years, even in tough weather. Keyrings will last indefinitely unless exposed to materials that regularly scratch the plastic cover - worst case, it could be cracked open to access the QR code within if it did get scratched badly.
Jo, the founder of Taggisar UK, has had a Taggisar sticker on her helmet since 2015 and there's still no sign of fading or peeling!
Do you offer free replacements for wear and tear?
In rare cases, yes! We offer free replacements if the product hasn’t performed as expected. But honestly, in over 15 years, no one’s needed one. The adhesive on the stickers is strong yet removable without leaving residue, ideal if you need to change your helmet.
